Re: Vintage Acid Etched & Stamped Blades
Thank you all so much! It means alot coming from you folks, that is my first knife, a gift from my great uncle George. I haven't a clue how a ten year old kid managed not to ruin it. I went out and bought an Imperial and ruined that one though

Here's one I've posted before elsewhere but it fits here also. Rather & Co. gunstock whittler, master blade is stamped with crossed swords and Acier Superfine.

VERY NICE knives Roger!!
A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

Re: Vintage Acid Etched & Stamped Blades
Thanks for posting those fine knives, Knife7knut and Peanut!
That Mystery dagger with the etch on both sides of the blade is kind of intriguing to me.

Re: Vintage Acid Etched & Stamped Blades
Last but certainly not least is a Hibbard Spencer & Bartlett sleeveborad whittler with Rustler etch. These were displayed at the Wilmington show and the guy had many more worthy knives of being posted here but didn't what to make too much of a pain in the ass of myself.Just another reason to go to a knife show.Even if you don't have any money to buy some of these knives it is great just to see what was made and is out there.I go to several shows a year and I sure see and learn alot each and ever time.
