This Henckels Barlow cleverly illustrates on the master blade variations on their two-man logos in the early centuries. The master blade has a solid half stop. Extra sharp blades. And the stag is premium.

Thanks LJ. I only wonder if there is another Barlow out there showing the more current stamps.

Man, great stag and killer stamp ID chart right on the blade. Doesn't get much better than that. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Stunning Garry! I particularly like the "Logo Legend" etch on the blade, their logo on the front bolster in red, and those gnarly covers! Beautiful folder! 8)

The price was right but, I would never carry it.
It would be too embarrassing to be caught with it. Like being in an accident with dirty, torn underpants. :oops:

Ken, that's plumb funny! Embarrased to tote your new OTF, I don't know? ::hmm::
Come to think of it, I have an OTF, just realized how close it is to your new one. Mine just doesn't have the long snoot like yours:

Andrewrod22,
::welcome:: to AAPK!
I love your homemade ax/hatchet handle!
This reminds me of my 98 year old Father-in-law, he won't buy a handle for any of his old hand tools, he makes them as you do. His big heavy grubbing hoe and eye ring hoe all have homemade handles. I'll have to admit yours looks mighty nice compared to his, no finish just worn smooth with his hands. He loves to "grub" and does a bit each week at his place.

With enough users to last a couple lifetimes I’ve recently developed a fondness for advertising / giveaway knives. Just picked up this Colonial advertising an Allis Chalmers farm equipment dealer in Wichita.

Thanks for the welcome. The main reason I got this handle to look and feel so good was because at the time I was recovering from knee surgery. I have made a few other handles prior to this one. Most failing after just a few swings. Truth be told, I need to use a tool with a relatively larger eye hole because I tend to try making the handle pretty long.

I did it again. ::facepalm:: I bought a knife I already had.

I bought this one in 2018.

Found this one on eBay going (what I considered) cheap and pulled the trigger. It came in yesterday's mail and I just discovered I already have one. ::dang::

I have too Jerry. I have several duplicates, but that's okay, I just look at it as no two knives are exactly alike.
