I like that French knife Marco.

Here is a Russian knife I got in the mail today.
It's a Kizlyar Supreme they call a "Gent" black titanium blade and white bone handle.
At first inspection it is a very well made knife. Very sharp right out of the box.
That is a really nice looking knife David, even looks well made in the photos. ::tu::

Yes, the knives are impressive but the final photo is masterful. Choosing to go only with the flat color of the leaves-no greenery- was a daring choice that worked perfectly. Well done Iman.

Thanks a bunch both of you, but really I just wait for some sun and put them down on the ground somewhere that looks interesting. All Mother Nature and GEC on that. Thanks again.

Showed up today and I am very satisfied. Took a couple of drops of Quick Release to get the snap back but now everything is well. As I said, my dad worked at Builders Supply in Evansville, IN during the 1950's but I seriously doubt it was the same Builders Supply that ordered these knives. I had never seen one before so I had to have it.

Catching up here. Been away from AAPK for a couple of weeks. Two weeks ago was traveling visiting relatives. Then wound up having to go to the doc last week with a bad cold which had turned into bronchitis. Also wound up getting a Covid test which luckily for me came back negative on covid. Was given some meds and finally got over it by this past Saturday. So this week has been catching up on things for my mom, and around the house. Picked up a few things week before last. Here are a couple of cheapies I found on the net.

First, ordered this 5 inch Barlow by Rough Rider, had to get it just because it's a Barlow, and I loved the brown bone with the design.
RR Barlow Bone.JPG
Next got this one just because of the Stag handles. A later issue Keen Kutter 3-1/4" Stockman. It has the U.S.A. Keen Kutter 92 tang stamp. I believe these were produced by Bear. Great snap on all blades, and for $20 It will make a interesting EDC.

Slim, and sharp "out of the box" this knife will immediately go into my "full-size" pocket carry rotation. A 154 CM stainless steel blade that's but .09" thick makes for a slender carry knife. The snappy action ensures you know that it is open. The name is right. It is a "pocket" automatic of the first magnitude. Lightweight, discreet, with plenty of cutting power. This unit disappears into my slacks pocket until I need it. I highly recommend this unit. 8) ::tu::

At the current price of $114.95 it is a "no brainer". 8)
