Thank you. I like the symmetry of equal ends. Maybe that’s why I like my 7573; it has a symmetrical handle, the blades are the same length despite being different points, and I’m a sucker for long pulls.

Tony, that's another. (And a nice Barlow to go with it.)

Once I get interested in a pattern I seem to see more of 'em.

I had to wait a long time before I was able to find one in this condition. I almost purchased a beautiful case knife that, in my opinion, is just as nice and a little easier to find, but just when I was about to pull the trigger, I found that schrade.

Another Canoe. Henckels #HK-12-9 Canoe with SS & stag & a Colonel Coon #CC49 Large Stockman with carbon & stag, The Stockman was probably made by Queen in 2006 or later but I don't have a clue about the Canoe.

That stag schrade with the dark patina is definitely unique. I don’t think I’ve seen another like it. Probably the best part (and this is me assuming) is that it is actually seeing some use and has function as well as beauty.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. There are many factors that play into what we carry. Balance, weight, materials, tasks, size... the list goes on and on.
I’m more embarrassed that I have more than what I feel is reasonable. It is hard for me to justify, right now I’m in the process of down sizing; giving some to my children, selling others. It’s very easy for my eyes to see something unique or beautiful and then desire it. That to me is wrong. I’m in the process of imposing limitations on my hobbies and collections, because I’m prone to excess. I do not want to be consumed by my desires or possessions. I am embarrassed to admit that, but it is true about myself.

Those are some handsome knives but they are overshadowed by that extremely handsome boy! They are so much fun at that age, enjoy every second of it.

Cold Workday EDC. Mora companion lives in my carhart pliers pouch. (Handy if you need your knife with gloves on). Buck 301 in pants pocket. royal0014 nothing wrong with a cheap blade getting the job done. That $13 Mora comes out and opens 30 to 40 bags and boxes a day 5 day a week.
