Jerry, Very Nice!

Second row from the top and to the right, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. One of my Nephews pulled a bottle out of his freezer on Thanksgiving and we did some shots, so I'm Good for the Flu Season.

I visited a nearby Arby's restaurant a few days ago. I had to make a visit to the men's room and while I was there I discovered this on the sink when I went to wash my hands..........yeah I know, it's Kentucky, what do ya expect.

We get tiny black worms around 5h3 bathroom faucet. I think I'm the only one who sees them.

You do not see them close-up, like this every day of the week. Ken

Guessing those pics were taken when the ship Pasha Bulker ran aground and beached several years ago off Newcastle?

Mine was from the dock at Manchester Terminal Port of Houston. I don't know if that was the actual ship channel or a tributary. But it was chugging along at maybe 5 knots or so.

Thought I'd share my axe pic. I have a few more. The Fender came from a knife trade here on this forum. Wish I could reconnect with the original owner I got it from. I really enjoy it and all the others. No longer play on stage but my seven show dogs think I'm awesome. I play every morning at 5:30 am. Nothing better than Stevie Ray Vaughan to get the heart pumping and fingers flying. Yup I'm a country picker too. Love playing and never had a lesson.

I came this close to cracking this bottle of Crown last night with my brother in-law....then we looked at the seal and noticed a date.....I was going to sell it on ebay after seeing some similar to it fetch over $200, but I'm not an approved "wine seller."
Oh well, I'll find someone womewhere....

I admire those that can play an instrument, and/or sing. Sum total of my musical abilities is listening!

Stevie Ray is one of my favorites too, and I was fortunate to see him perform several times. But best guitarist I ever saw or heard in person is Eddy Shaver. It's a shame neither is still with us, but as the song says, they're gonna "Live Forever".

Here's a couple of pics of one that I picked up a week or so ago. 2008 Martin HD-28V (vintage series), Indian rosewood back and sides and sitka spruce top. I gave it a test last night at a small jam session, it is a manly guitar.

Back in the mid to late 70's when the movie "Deliverance" came out and the song "Dueling Banjos" was hot, there was an article published in the local newspaper about a music store (Famous Old Time Music Company) having Saturday afternoon jam sessions. I visited the store one Saturday and was so taken by the force and the passion of Bluegrass Music that I was determined to play it. It took several years to teach myself how to play and the rest is history. What a beautiful music Bluegrass is, to me any way. It's the only music I've ever played and I don't regret a single minute of it.
