Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
I received this one yesterday. Another addition to my Camillus 72 family. A Short Line tang stamp, Camillus 72, with black composite handles without the shield. Blades are full & haven't been abused, no wobble and great snap. They do have some scratches and spiders. The bolsters are in great shape with some scratches and nicks. The handles do have some shrinkage. It was a little dirty and bolsters were dull, so last night did an oil soak, and flushed with wd-40, then re-oiled. Did put some Case Paste on the bolster and blades.

The Queen #63 Railsplitter in walnut is from another Railsplitter, our own Rick T. Great guy to deal with! The knife was shipped quick, packed perfectly, and exactly as described. I'm very pleased.
My wife surprised me with the '65 GTO she found while shopping. She's a blessing, for sure!

Happy to hear yer the snagger, a D2 railsplitter is always a sweet knife to behold.
And yes, the '65 is a true GTO to me. After '67, they loose all appeal.

Great pics, Steve! Glad to read your enthusiasm. That knife looks good on your table and that GTO is really something. I had a friend who had one of those around 1977 or so. It was his first car. Must have been a '65 too because it looked just like that only it was white. Man, the good old days.

Thanks guys. Carried it today. Not a lot of hard work opening boxes and letters, but it did the job to my satisfaction, and felt good in the hand using it.
My heart leans to the '67. My first car was a GTO wannabe, a '67 LeMans.
Take care and God bless,

Got these little cuties today. Yes, knives can be cute, no useful purpose for these. Only 2inches closed, push button switchblades from the 70’s
Protected by a large LOUD dog, and Smith & Wesson...

Fell in love with the "Cinnamon Red" Smooth Bone with laser engraved blade when SSk Mark posted it and somehow I managed to convince him to sell it to me (it really wasn't too hard because Mark is a cool dude who is very easy to work with)
Then I found the "Moss Brown" Jigged Bone on eBay to complete the set. ("Moss Brown" is the official name although it looks more like Mossy Green to me
)
3½" closed length, which is right in my wheelhouse.

Gorgeous set Q! I too am surprised that Mark would part with that piece, he really seemed to like it, but as you said he is an absolute pleasure to deal with, and if you show interest in something he has he will bend over backwards to make it happen. Great score!QTCut5 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 8:45 pm Fell in love with the "Cinnamon Red" Smooth Bone with laser engraved blade when SSk Mark posted it and somehow I managed to convince him to sell it to me (it really wasn't too hard because Mark is a cool dude who is very easy to work with)![]()

Still seeking Stag, I stumbled upon these two:

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Received this one in the mail today. A 1987 Buck 703 Colt. Picked it up from our very own TripleF. Very pleased with it. Already doing some pocket time. And as usual Scott threw in an extra goodie with it.
He must have been paying attention to some of my posts and knew I like certain promotional pieces. So he threw in a Micro Flat tip pocket screwdriver with magnetic tip. A little Snap-On promo, which I didn't have. It will fit right in with my other Craftsman's, Proto's, MAC's, & MATCO. I do appreciate it Scott.
