What's that small one bighomer? Is that a Trapper? A Jack? Or is it a cigar? ::shrug:: It looks interesting. ::hmm::
Just curious what it's called? And who made that one? Thanks for the info. I'm still learning. :mrgreen:

I just call it a jack knife, Crown cutlery new york. My understanding is they didn't produce pocket knives, they just contracted them to be built.
Thank you Sir! ::tu::

So cool!!!

Carrying these 2 for the past few days...
Scott, that Schrade 175 is a looker for sure. Cool. ::nod::

Hi bighomer, I presume you were visiting in Nova Scotia and are implying that you felt you couldn't carry a knife because you were in Canada? Both your pictured knives are perfectly legal to carry anywhere in Canada. Unless you were flying in with carry on luggage only?

I carried one like this all around Ireland when I was there. Transported it in my checked bag, inside its box that was packed inside my hiking boot. This knife has been in Florida that way too. Not my picture.

Was on on a cruise ship, they didn't allow knives, also flew to NY and back, not worth the hassle. I have carried knives into Canada several times when entering by land routes. Beautiful country you guys have up thar. The foliage was just past peak but still wonderful , the nor'easter had affected a few areas.

I just love it, the size, the spear point, the bolsters, the patina, the shield; it's got everything going for it. It just pops out at me. Great edc!
