That's pretty close to mine...although the etch on my folder clearly has "USA" under "WESKE"...I suppose there could've been more than one style of etch used by WESKE; maybe one for fixed blades and one for folders?

Y'all have been hitting a slew of home runs lately! These may only be a double, or maybe a base hit, but I like 'em nevertheless: a pair of Case Peanuts in pocket worn old red bone.

There's more to the story, though. Those knives were ordered this past Wednesday. That night, a certain "pretty red mug" (that's a direct quote) suffered an unfortunate accident during dish-washing time. The following morning, I called Shepherd Hills and asked them if the order had been shipped yet. It hadn't, so I asked if they could add on a new mug. They did so, and got the order shipped soon after. It arrived yesterday. Superior customer service from Shepherd Hills!

I received a couple in the mail today. Another addition to my Schrade and Camillus 72 Clone family. A Schrade 863 along with a Camillus 715 from the Old Glory Series that was put out by Camillus around 2001 or 02. I will post more about them in the appropriate threads.

I received a couple in the mail today. Another addition to my Schrade and Camillus 72 Clone family. A Schrade 863 along with a Camillus 715 from the Old Glory Series that was put out by Camillus around 2001 or 02. I will post more about them in the appropriate threads.

Another addition to my Pony Jack corral, a Camillus Long line tang stamp 21 Pony Jack with bone Handles. Main clip blade has great snap, with positive half stop and no wobble. The secondary pen blade has very week snap. Mark side handle has a tiny crack on lower edge to the right of the rear pin. Pile side handle has a small crack at the center pin.

Great looking knife. Let me ask...did the mineral bath and soak increase the depth and vibrance of the color or was it this good looking before ?

That is as nice a color bone as you will see, and the worn smooth look of use makes it look even better, Great get.

Thank you. The mineral oil soak is usually to help loosen, and dried or gummed oils that may be between the joints, and in the blade well. It seems to also help bone handles, if the bone happens to be dry. Not really sure if it helps the color or not. I usually wash a old knife with some dish detergent and warm water, the flush with wd-40 beforehand. Then I put it in a container of clean mineral oil, usually I warm it with a lamp but during the summer just set it out in my shop, over night. Then flush again and clean.

If i can give you a little tip, you can buy spray cans of " Degreaser " it is for removing stubborn and dried on old grease, can even use it for helping to remove oil stains from concrete. You spray it on, leave it for about 4-5 minutes and wash it off, under pressure is better, or just strong water flow. It is fantastic for neglected knives that the oil in the joints has gummed up on, or dried oil in the well that has turned to grease. And cheap, i can get a large can of it over here for between 2-4 dollars. And just handy yo have i the workshop and home.
