This grandpa carried a Grand Dad's old timer today for the 1st time. Got this one a few months back from Muskrat Man in The AAPK store. Paired it with a RR red bone canoe.

I like that Leek. It reminds me of one I got recently - my first "modern" knife. I'm impressed with the quality, however, when I think "tactical" or self-defense, something that makes a lot more noise than a "snick" comes to mind. Something you obviously carry, too.garddogg56 wrote:Case gunstock this fine morn

1975 Case #6235 1/2 Swell End Jack with CV & bone & 1970 Case #6233 Small Premium Pen with CV & Delrin. I bought the pen used, in real bad shape, & I thought the handles were bone until recently when I read about the composition shield, without the oval around the name. There's always something more I need to learn.

It is a fine knife Geo I don't think of a Leek as tactical just a easy access knife-for the off hand :
:Geo love that 35 1/2 for me they are one of my favorite pocket knives

Geo, whatever the material, they’re both lovely!
I do think I like the pen a bit more, though. I’m a sucker for the little knives.

Been carrying the Case 6318 that I cleaned the Delrin Haze from; in my pocket two days and the edges and high spots are getting the shine back. OH

Thanks garddogg, & Ann, I'm also a sucker for little knives. Whatever I carry, I can almost always find a little one too, if I reach far enough in my pockets.

Looks a bit like Indian Stag, but there will be people on the forum who will have a better idea than me. Looks good whatever it is. The 940 I happen to be holding, and usually carry when wearing shorts. The others are my usual daily carry.
