A couple with Winchester trademarks, made in the USA: #3902 Whittler with carbon & bone, made in 1990 & #W 20 19021 Workman Series Toothpick with SS & Delrin. I suspect Queen made the Whittler. No clue who made the Toothpick.

This GEC 56 with micarta handles is a great user knife with a thinly ground main blade that takes a keen edge with minimal sharpening effort. The Schrade stockman with white bone is a recent pick up, china made I suspect but I have no complaints about the smooth blade action and snap.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Today I’m carrying a knife that was given to me, this past weekend, by my wife’s great aunt, that in turn belonged to her late husband. Not my favorite pattern, but it is versatile. I just wish I had the stories to go along with it.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Honestly I picked it up off the auction site and paid the aftermarket premium in a bidding war at the end, but it was worth it. I just wish I had known about GEC when they were making them, maybe someday I'll run across another one, or they'll do another run. I am having a hard time carrying it and only did so today to show a friend, by far the jewel in my little GEC collection.KnifeSlinger#81 wrote:Nice 81. Once one BFORSE!! Always nice to have a knife someone gifts you because they think you might like it and because they care for you enough to gift it to you. Carry it with pride.
