So that is what y'all are catching way up yonder in the northeast part of the world? Salmon and bass, just looking your son's fish, must be a small mouth bass. The markings are not like the southern bass and of course the mouth is looks smaller. That's appears to big a pretty good sized fish.
Do y'all filet the salmon and fry it or is there another way to eat a fresh fish?

It is a large mouth for salmon stuff with bread crumbs and bake then peel from bone Brook trout and white perch are my favorite Imperial for the day

Thanks cudgee. It came with natural bone handles but they were beginning to show a greenish discoloration near the bolsters. Maybe verdigris, or oil migrating from the pivots or could be something done by the elves who play with it when I'm asleep. Whatever, the bone soaked up enough leather dye to hide the discoloration & look unique.

I did wonder about the colour. My butterbean is much lighter, almost white. I think I like yours better!

A bit of random useless knowledge. The white bone was introduced in the 2001 catalog and although not officially listed as 'Pocket Worn' the language used to describe them was very similar to the Pocket Worn line. Also all of the white bone boxes from that series I've seen have PW on the label just like the Pocket Worn labeled boxes.
There, that and a quarter will buy you a piece of bubble gum.
