Thanks Keith, I married a saint!
Dave, I agree with Larry - those walking Liberty silver dollars are my favorite. The Morgans are a close second.

I don't think I've ever seen an Indian Head in that good of condition. Nice.

Don't recall having ever seen a picture of the man .. .. ..
To redeem myself, however, The Woodstock Music and Art Fair was not actually held in Woodstock, NY.

(Edit : add in the fact that this event took place almost two and a half years before I was born ...)

I was too busy working on Oregon to go to college that summer.
I didn't hear about Woodstock until the movie came out (in 1971 or 1972?).
IIRC, I watched it at the base theater while in the Marine Corps, but it could have been in a theater in town.

Too long ago to remember.

I recall watching the news reports about Woodstock that weekend on TV. My cousin, the pot head, had come over from Round Lake that weekend. I recall he was wishing he was there but I didn't have any desire to be there. Wow, that's working on 50 years ago. Not quite there yet but getting closer. Just one month later, I would place an order for a brand spankin' new Oldsmobile 4-4-2. What a dilly that was.

You know how it is Ferg. When it's new and shiny, you don't think it will mean anything later.
On a serious note, my mother had the change that was in my great-grandfather's pocket when he died. From what I remember, there were some Indian head pennies and a V nickel. I don't know what happened to that stuff.

I'm preparing our house for a painting contractor. I needed to refurbish some casement sashes.
They were pretty rough and still aren't beautiful but I didn't want to replace them and I gave them several more years.
Methods and tools.
