Carried over the Queen "Robeson" ATS-34 whittler from yesterday, went back to the big 2019 AAPK knife in the LFP.

Now that is the way to attack 'em I-Man.Ivoryman wrote:Been carrying these lately on walks and use them to cut the occasional blackberry vines that are taking over trails this time of year. Went on a trail I haven't been on for weeks and had to cut many. These did the job and the vines are nasty, they bite back, can be thick. So after days of that I just took the Becker BK9 along and it cleared everything in 5 min. Destroyed them. Becker rocks.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I can't speak for anyone else, but too often I get caught up in looking a the pictures and just don't read the captions under them, and another thing a lot of people have tag lines at the end of the post and I have a tendency to skip those. Anyway I'll be tote'n these today.geocash wrote:Here's another side. It's a 2003 Case #62156SS Tuxedo with bone.EDC265b.jpgQuick Steel wrote:geo what is that top slender knife?
I have a question, too. I almost always type in a description of each knife I post, then place the picture inline. I called this a 2002 instead of 2003 in the OP & you may have caught that. Sorry.
I post to show off, I admit. But I also post for the free peer review & occasionally get corrected when I'm wrong. I appreciate that. But a few times I've gotten an inquiry that makes me suspect that my comment wasn't displayed for some viewers. It may be that the device they're using doesn't display the comment or maybe they don't notice. Maybe it's me. Any thoughts, anyone?

Thanks, bighomer. I like looking at pictures. Reminds me of the analogy to a thousand words. Easier to read the picture.

My pattern is to place any comments before [on top of] photos so that they will not likely be overlooked.

I've never seen ones like that before, who's the maker and what are the handle materials?

Imperial. Clamp on tin handles. Very, very common with multitude of color choices. First time I've seen this combination myself.

Thanks for the compliment on my whittler, Gregg. Pretty fine S&M you were toting yourself, no offense to the GEC you had with it.
Here's another whittler, from the 1990s, a Camillus #72 with carbon & bone along with a Camillus #72 Tuxedo with carbon & Delrin from the 1960s or '70s:

Definitely one of my favorites but it is not an EDC for me just because I don’t want to accidentally loose it or tear it up; that and it was a Father’s Day gift.
