Quick Steel, it has a very unique jigging pattern. Beautiful
St. John Chapter 1
...12 But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God...
...12 But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Wow...very nice job on the self engraving!!!BFORSE wrote:That empty shield was just begging for an initial. Unfortunately I never engraved anything before nor had a tool to do so. So I took a very small file, researched the cutting angles of an engraving tool and made my own tool out of that file. I then found an old font style from the late 1800’s and sketched it on the shield with a very sharp pencil. Short story long if you zoom in you might see that it is a stylized “F”.Ivoryman wrote:Nice shot BFORSE, tell me what the icon or symbol on the shield is? Sweet ebony EZ and patina coming along.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thanks, Doc B! Carrying something different today
This is a slightly modified Chinese Marbles. It’s one of my beaters. I modified the lock to be smaller and more comfortable, clipped the point a little more and took the swing guards off so I can choke up on it and put my thumb on the spine.

Thanks for the help. Quite the dressed up F. Must say though, you did a great job for your first, and made the tool itself too. Hmmmmm, talent, ability, ingenuity and execution plus. A+ on that project.BFORSE wrote:That empty shield was just begging for an initial. Unfortunately I never engraved anything before nor had a tool to do so. Trying to stay cool. 93° outside, feels like 103°. Supposed to be even hotter tomorrow. Chillin' (more like sweating it out) with this.
I couldn't imagine days like this out on the frontier back before AC.
Take care and God bless,

NWN, Looks to me like some mating has already taken place. I'm not familiar with Kingston. Do you think Ulster might have made yours for Kingston?

garddogg56, believe me I know. Living in California, it's dangerous to leave reality. So let me introduce you to the two EDC's that occupy my pockets ALL the time, Mr. Benchmade and Mr. SOG.garddogg56 wrote:Back to the reality of carrying good users.Buck 310+Benchmade stryker
