Besides the Wisteria vines, I also cut back some branches on a Crepe Myrtle Bush. The biggest was only about the size of my thumb. But the saw worked great.cody6268 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 8:13 pm
I've cut through 2-2 1/2" branches with the saw on mine. I have the German Army, Swiss Army, Fireman, Outrider, and Dual Pro X; as well as an older Alpineer I converted to a slipjoint by replacing the scales and removing the lock. All of those but the Alpineer have a saw, and they work great.
The belt cutter blade found on models like the Fireman and Dual Pro tend to make short work of a lot of vines.

Got a couple in today.
First, a rather unique Camillus 72Y Carpenters Whittler. Not only is it like new in the box with the original wrapper and pamphlet, but the pile side of the master clip blade has the 1997 22LR6 tang stamp while the front of the blade has the Double Line Camillus Tang Stamp and the Yellow Jacket blade etch. I will also post this in the Camillus 72 thread. I also received this piece of Queen ephemera. A Queen Steel #22 Barlow Box that has the display surface with backboard. It is like new, with hardly any rubs. The diecut straps on the box have not been unfolded. I also included a photo of it with my Queen Steel #22 Barlow with it, but I did not unfold the straps.

Three beauties Mark! All very nice, especially the Mcusta.
Smitty that yellow whittler is a sharp looking knife. I like the Barlow display with a Barlow on it.
Stan be sure to let us know how that Fallkniven holds up. The steel sounds superb. I have some Japanese knives made from powdered steel but have never used them.

Love this one, too..Papa Bones wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 3:39 pm I got this one in Yesterday. I wanted a knife to carry in my Mower Seat Bag when cutting my daughters yard. She has a bunch of Wisteria Vines in her back yard, some rather large. Hence I wanted to try out this mini saw, and a larger knife blade. So I thought I would give this Victorinox Forester a try. It is approximately 4-3/8" closed, it has a 3-1/2" spear point blade with liner-lock, a 3-5/8" saw blade, of course the usual can opener / small flat tip, a large flat tip / cap opener with liner lock, Cork Screw, awl / punch, toothpick and tweezers. Plus all blades have half stops. Will give it a try later this morning when I start cutting grass.

I, too, like the Yellow Jackets.
My new arrival for today was a Case Sod Buster Jr. with crimson peach seed jigged bone covers. Am I becoming a "bonehead" and/or spending a little too much money on my new hobby?
I also made an unboxing video. Until I can figure out that darned embed feature, the link will have to do.

Thanks, Papa Bones. You now have me thinking of adding a Sod Buster Jr. as a carrier (in addition to a Copperlock).
