Here they come down the trail. All of the herd will follow the lead stag. Shhh.... quiet now......
These creatures are most easily observed from a camoflaged ground blind.

The toasted stag on the Tuna Valley 4 blade stock knives is about as good as it gets on a production piece!

Re: Brag On Yo Stag !
Welcome to the Tuna Valley club, 2Dead; gorgeous stag and sweet red bone! I really like these knives, and I'm not even a stockman fan! The 73's are STILL my favorites!
Monk, that is some super stag on that 73! I love that part of the knife, but I'm still having trouble with the double pulls. I'm kinda thinkin' that with the cloud sheild, it puts the knife a little over the top in the bells and whistle dept.
I bought one of the cocobolo Tidioutes instead.
I hope the upcoming single blade 23 and 73 patterns have just one nail nick.

Re: Brag On Yo Stag !
I'll tell ya, guys. I like the double pull OK on some patterns, just not the 73. The long matchstriker pull probably looks the coolest, but the crescent is a little easier to open due to the extra leverage. I'll go either way, but still prefer just a single nail nick. I will admit that they are still fantastic looking and using knives, with any type of pull.
Monk, maybe you ought to send that fancied-up 73 to me sos I can get used to it! Just on indefinite loan, of course.

Wait till you see the Northfield Hogan with Double Pull Barry
I agree crescent is most practical,at least for me and my busted up fingers....love the look of the long pull though.
With that said I did break down and get a Snakewood 73 with the DP's,I'm a homer for Snakewood
