2025 AAPK Club Knife Information

Good looking knife! I was wondering why I had not got an email, then realized that my membership had expired. Not sure how I let that happen. Anyway, just renewed my membership and emailed Bryan. Hope I am not too late.

For a change I was paying attention this time but the grace period makes it not such a scramble as it used to be! Good on Bryan and Tom for continuing the practice started last time, I think.
Back in 2018 we were enjoying Hurricane Michael and our friend Dale, aka Orvet, ordered one for me during the power outage. Thanks again my friend.
Then a few years ago, I wasn't paying attention, again and missed out as these knives seemed "to sell like hot-cakes". Day late and a dollar short was only half true that time, just didn't get to the trough in time. That round I was graciously rescued by Ken, KLJ77 who offered me his 2021 knife. I believe Ken said he would just start his AAPK club knife collection the following year. Thank you, Ken!
These are the kind of folks that make up AAPK's membership, glad to be associated with them!
I told Miss Joy about ordering the 2025 knife and when the delivery was to be expected in early October. She replied, "Happy Birthday, that's close to September 27th. Then I said it might be a wedding anniversary gift for you if comes on October the 8th.! We try to have a good time.

Good Morning - Today I sent emails to individuals who purchased a 2024 club knife but haven't yet purchased a 2025 club knife in the hopes of reaching everybody that might want a knife. We currently have about 20 knives remaining for sale. If you are a premium subscriber and wish to purchase this years knife, I highly recommend doing so immediately as I anticipate selling out in the next 24-48 hours. I was dragging my feet a bit on getting this.

Then somehow my wife received the "we're already 80% sold out, so don't drag your feet" email.

Couldn't have been more perfect. The boss forwards me the email, says sounds serious, you'd better get it quick!

100% possible which is why we are trying to keep strong communications here in the forum. I think the failure rate from the mass email to our premium subscribers is in the small single digits but every email is important to us so even 1 failure pains us. This thread has been active for the past 3 weeks so hopefully everyone saw the thread and was aware that the pre-order sales period was eminent.

The top reason for email failures for the pre-order announcement wasn't really an email failure but was instead caused by expired premium subscriptions and the pre-order announcement email only going to active premium subscribers.

Each cycle we learn a little bit more and make continuous improvements to the operation; continued feedback is valuable in shaping those improvements.

We currently have 9 knives remaining for sale

I've not seen this pattern before. I ordered mine and am excited about the ACSB especially. so I don't mean to sound negative but doesn't it seem like the blades open to the wrong side given the shape of the handle? Like the finger grooves should be on the other side?

Last year's knife was beautiful, this one might be better.
