A rusty knife for not much money.

Anything I find at an estate or garage sale for a decent price.

Any knife that needs saving from neglect or obscurity. Typically from a garage or estate sale, but also any store where old knives might be found.

And any time I see one for a decent price I'll buy a Colonial Mountain Guide. I've owned many. I use them, and like to give them away. I've sold a few but usually if I have one on hand, Im anxious to have someone else enjoy it.

I got an “invitation” to join the NRA. I liked the knife, but really had no interest in joining. I bought the knife for less than half the lowest membership level.
