Someone recently requested a pic of my no line tang stamp Camillus collection. The 83 and Marlin Spike almost don't fit but they are no lines that continued for a while.

D.L. I am just seeing this post.... not sure how I missed it ... Very nice indeed! I have started to collect no line tang stamps, because I already have so many long lines and lot's of Short lines, but I only have a few
no line tang stamps, of the ones 1950-60, they seem (for me at least) very hard to find. For example, the #27/#29 I have a Bazillion long-line examples, but only one or two no lines. I have a few (#99s) camp knives that are no lines, but I just don't find many when I am out hunting around....

Thanks D.L. ... It is curious D.L. and I don't know why, but the most common No-Line I find is the #99..... The most common Short-line I seem to come across is the hawkbill blade knife.... .... go figure

Well, after about a year and a half I found another no line. It has those shrinky dink black plastic handles and they have shrunk a lot. It is an advertising knife made for Moor Man seed company. Blades aren't sharp and one suffered under a very abrasive sharpening stone. There is no model # stamped on it but I believe it to be a model 68. But it is indeed a no line.

Well, after about a year and a half I found another no line. It has those shrinky dink black plastic handles and they have shrunk a lot.

D.L. I got out one of my few N.L.s for my weekend EDC*...(#99 I would say )... I have not picked up a "proper N.L." for probably at least two years... but mainly because I don't buy online anymore and I don't go to the Local swap meet because it turned into $0.99 store joke. ... Well, every now and again I will go to a yard sale but just barley... yard sales suck 'round here too....

Thanks D.L. I have a couple of #99s and medium stockman No-Line (of the older ones pre 1960s so to speak). But they sure are hard to find... I'm still looking ... time will tell ....

... Sometimes I wonder D.L. .... About the other owners of some of these old knives.... all the places they went... all the things they cut? To have a knife from the 40's or 50's (and well before too), that can be a lot of years of service... could be some interesting stories if'en they could be told....
