Ya'll must have been extra good this year guys for Santa to bestow such beautiful cutlery upon you! This post from John I found particularly intriguing, would I be correct in assuming the stiletto and OTF came from Herb, and the big trapper and Utica from Skip, yes? Thx bud!

Thanks, Mark! Skip sent the train figural knife, Herb the rest. We're confident the OTF is a knockoff (but it functions and cuts) and there's a story behind the stiletto.

My goodness John, I didn't even see the train knife until you just mentioned it, my bad! I figure anything automatic would come from Herb, and I must agree that the OTF is likely a clone, but if it cuts and feels good who cares, other than the totally unnecessary etch. You've completely intrigued me about the story behind the stiletto, please, do tell!

This Buck 112 50th Anniversary model was under our tree this morning from my wife.

These come in two variants. One with finger grooves and one without. My wife thought I didn't have either one so she felt safe picking one out for me. Just by chance, she chose the finger groove model which I didn't already have. She could have easily chosen the other model and it would have been a duplicate of the one I already have.

It worked out perfectly because it's the first finger grooved 112 that I have ever owned and now I have one each of the 50th Anniversary 112's. She did good. I love it!

When I finally managed to open my frozen back door the day after Christmas, there was a small plastic bag with this & a note inside it. From a good friend who lives about 200 miles away but has relatives in town. One Ihave never seen & goes well with my George Schrade & Cousin Willie. This one is marked GEIGFRIED MADE IN JAPAN.
