Reverand, Philip and Mike...Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers and to ALL of you who have prayed for the wellbeing of Lisa and baby Curran. It truly means a multitude of joy and gratitude within me.

This morning, at 9:44 Florida time, Lisa and Ryan were blessed with a baby BOY! Their first boy. Nicholas James was born 4.7 lbs and will remain in neonatal ICU for several weeks as he progresses fully and to a 'go home' status. Right now, they're monitoring his breathing and making sure he doesn't have any lung issues, but he is doing very well. Lisa is doing very well and still coming off the spinal tap, but she is not in any discomfort above a '3' level. I'm so very happy for them and I give praise to the Lord for seeing her through this and blessing them with this boy. It's been a long arduous, and sometimes, very concerning moments in the past 34 weeks, but Lisa met her goal and the rest is history.

Once again, THANK YOU all for your prayers and thoughts the past three months for my daughter. It means a lot to me. Thank You My Friends.

Thanks again for all your replies and thoughts. I've shared this link with Lisa so she will know just how many personal thoughts and prayers she has been receiving the past three months. She was overjoyed to know so many who didn't even know her prayed for her and Nicholas' wellbeing. She is deeply Thankful for all your thoughts and prayers.

Today, she finally got to see her new son and hold him. Nicholas had to have a blood transfusion this morning due to low platelets. His numbers are back up and normal now.

Once again, I want to say how GRATEFUL I am for all the thoughts and prayers for my daughter Lisa and Nicholas James during their birthing events and various medical episodes. There is NO doubt in my heart & mind that God honored each and every word cast before Him on behalf of Lisa and Nicholas. Nicholas is a miracle baby, albeit, not the only one. But this miracle hit closer to home for me.

On 28 December 2022, Nicholas James reached the mile stones necessary for his release and to be able to go home. He is now at a bit over 4 lbs and is strong, growing like a weed and shows no signs of physical/mental disabilities for being a preemie. Ryan and Lisa are PROUD parents of their first boy...and Nicholas' sisters are going to have him spoiled soon enough. He's one lucky boy to have these girls in his life.

I am humbled...and I thank you all for your prayer support the last several months. I truly appreciate each and every one.

From preemie birth to six months old. Nicholas, my daughters 'miracle' boy is really growing and doing well. I continue to give thanks to all the prayers that were lifted up on his and Lisa's behalf.

From Lisa:

6 MONTHS
From 4.7lbs to 14.5lbs
From wires and tubes to rolling over.
From tears and research to hugs and relaxing
From the unknown to a wondrous journey
What a beautiful story and lesson in life this experience has been. Nicholas is a joy in every way. He's so happy and smiles all the time.
He isn't just growing, he's thriving. He's a perfect addition to the Curran Clan, and he's adjusted to all our silliness.
He's rolling over both belly to back and back to belly. He's almost sitting up on his own. He chats with us all day long. He loves music so much; everything from classical to worship to Whitney Houston's greatest hits.
Every day is a gift. Cherish those around you. Be kinder to those who share the same 4 walls with you. Give crazy amounts of love to everyone you meet. Be salty.
