Re: Two Questions
I think the additional tool on the bottle opener is for cutting the ends off Cigars. As posted above, it does not have a projection to use for leverage opening cans and a knife with a tool specialized for getting the wrapper off wine bottle corks would also have a cork screw. For $10 in a pawn shop I bought a Chinese Marbles with a spear master, a Philip's head screw driver and that same bottle opener cigar cutter tool. The shop owner told me that's what it's for. I don't smoke so I suppose I could use it to clean finger nails and push back my cuticles. Sometimes I'm just a sucker for $10 knives. At least my Marbles is new in box and Philip's head screw drivers are handy.

Re: Two Questions
I just saw this old Robeson knife on ebay and although it has a screw driver and the acetylene wrench built in it also has that squiggly, curly q type opener or whatever it was used for. Does anyone have any Robeson literature with a description of the knife and its uses? I have no idea what the model # is and it wasn't included in the auction.
