And that, my fellow AAPKers, is the difference between whittling and carving!

I'm a whittler myself. Aside from toothpicks, I have also whittled marshmallow sticks. ::super_happy::

Used my Kershaw Chive (the around the house knife) for snack opening). Used my Boker USA 3588 Serpentine Pen to open feed sacks. I'd left my Buck 112 at the house, and this was, basically the only knife I had one me that I could easily get to. Despite being a smaller knife (about 3 1/2"), I can open the main blade with medium weight gloves on with no problem. And, Boker's 1085 lasts pretty long, and is resistant to hard use. Also, used my Buck 112LT to open some cheese in the kitchen.

Cut a heavy duty tie wrap to free up some hydraulic lines as I removed a leaking cylinder to be repaired.

I'm off work today , so it's been nice and light . The bird feeder needed filing and I wanted to add a suet holder around a limb of the same tree the feeder hangs on . The knife , a cheapie Winchester "110 copy " .. cleared the remaining seed in the feeder and cutbthe paracord I used to secure the suet cage . I also cut up a gala Apple with it . Like I said , a light duty day for sure and I'm take it over a heavy duty remodeling day on a jobsite

This is my rather infamous work knife, the poor thing.
Today we are cutting open boxes of 30”X72” plastic folding table to check that they aren’t cracked. Then we will be cutting cardboard edging and strapping.

6383, you have some great user knives. ::tu::

I have carried this one continuously since the first of the year. Most mornings it's what I use to cut my apple. I use it with care so as to preserve it, it's not a beater but it definitely didn't come to me in mint condition. It gets various use throughout the day, whether I'm at work plumbing or just messing around. I really enjoy this knife, and the fact that it's rare makes me enjoy carrying it that much more.

Today I used it to cut some foam and other little things that I don't remember.
