Recommend a decent outdoor pocket knife?

So, I ended up getting her the Spyderco Native, and it seems she'll be pretty happy with it. Though I don't think she'll quite understand until she starts using it a bunch more ;)

Congratulations, a very fine knife for the price. Of course 1 knife is never enough. :mrgreen: SOOooo, with that in mind I would be looking for a knife with VG10 steel. Think layered, the center is very hard 59 to 60Rc with the outside being of softer metal. It also gives one a chance to compare 2 of the top steels used in cutlery. VG10 is also used in kitchen cutlery. Makes a good excuse to try before you buy (kitchen cutlery) ::tu::
