Yes it does but hard info to find. Sears had at least 4? major catalogs per year(major = > 1000 pages). Usually about 2 pages with 50-100 knives shown. Sta-Sharp is the top line and are grouped together. They changed the knives in almost every catalog. Sometimes switching blades on a Whittler or Cattle knife, etc. Sometimes the Sears product number stays the same, sometimes it is changed. There seems to be no logic to the constant changes in knife patterns.
This Trapper with this etch might only be in 1 catalog or maybe in a few, but find that catalog and you have the year (and month) date.
It can cost almost as much to buy some of the Sears catalogs as it does for a minty knife in the catalog.
If you come a bone Sta-Sharp to the same pattern branded Camillus you might see thicker liners, milled liners, grooved bolsters, etc. on the Sta-Sharp. Camillus on 'roids in a tuxedo is how i think of the Sta-Sharp knives.

Sawdust your knife shows considerable blade loss from use but the quality construction shines through regardless. Milled liners, long pull, serious swedging all speak to the cutlers skill built into this knife. I like it.
