The pattern names we know are for USA & British made knives. European made knives have many patterns not seen in knives from USA or Britain.
"Swell End Multiblade" is a name for above knife that describes it.
Here is a "Trapper Multiblade", 3 3/4", 6 'blades' plus corkscrew, no markings other than sample number on back of master. Made by C.F.Kayser circa 1900.

Wow!!!! Awesome!!!kootenay joe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 4:21 am This is a 3" four blade Senator, all blades marked "Huser". There is a very faint sample # on the front side of master blade. Beautiful knife, from late 1800's to early 1900's by C.F.Kayser, i believe.
The carved pearl is difficult to photograph well.

You do realize A883 that the last post is from Jan./2018, don't you? It doesn't matter that you posted now, just wanted to be sure you were aware how old it is!Alien883 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 1:45 pm

Re: C F KAYSER; Solingen, Germany
This pocket knife was in a group of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT buy the group to obtain this particular pocket knife. It is a C.F.(?) KAYSER GERMANY, single blade(?), single tang stamp, 3 1/4" closed, all metal, pocket knife. If the tang stamp had "C.F." included, it doesn't now. It appears that this pocket knife originally had two blades at one time, it has just one blade now. It also looks like there was something engraved on the main side, but not much remains. Overall, it is in pretty good shape and still has some life left in it. I gave it a minimal cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
