On the BRK&T site, once you select a particular model in one of the categories,
below the picture is a menu to select other handles besides the Black G10.
This must be a recent change since previously each model's opening page had a
selection of thumbnails on the right side of page to click to produce full size image of that handle.
Tricky part was after finding your 'must have' handle to then track down which dealer it was sent to.
Knivesshipfree and DLT Trading use the factory images on their sites so hopefully checking
those two will produce the one you crave from the BRK&T site.
BRK&T offers many patterns and an amazing array of handle materials.
If they don't have the one you want, a special order from your BRK&T dealer should remedify the situation.

I only have one Bark River knife, a Bravo 1 that I picked up at the Blade Show last year. It is an extremely well made knife. I could easily be talked into buying more.
Phil if I could only have one Barkie the Bravo would be my choice. As a matter of fact if I could only own one fixed blade the Bravo would be it. Do you like the thumb ramp?

Many reviews of various models after field
testing by users and BRK&T.
Technical information on their R&D as well as
manufacturing techniques should clarify some
of the cost factors not seen w/the naked eye.
You will also notice anytime a problem with a
Bark River is mentioned, Stewart's response is
always 'send it back we'll fix it or replace it.'
I've always had excellant customer service from DLT
Trading and they have a very large selection of BRK&T.
They usually put models on sale after the initial
'new model' phase slows down.
Further discounts applied for the clearance items.
So a little patience can take some of the sting out of price.
Once you start using it the quality, workmanship and
functionality should melt away the rest (of the sting).
Of course the best selection is during the initial introduction
but if you want a synthetic handled user at best price
the close out phase will arrive eventually.
Now if you enroll your kids in the military or a vocational school
instead of a state university your knife fund should be able
to support a few Barkies. Or Tony Boses. Or a Randall.......
When you get right down to it some Barkies cost
no more than a tank of ga$.

I'm sure these knives are well worth the cost.
It's just that they are so pretty "like a work of art",
I wouldn't want to scratch em' up using one for what it was intended for.
I'll stick to my home made Bushcraft.
Cost about two bucks worth of left over parts using a trash picked kitchen knife.
Not as pretty as these but it does the job.
If I lose or "F" it up. The only thing lost will be the time it took to make it.
