How Kabar got it's name

I'm not quite sure if this humble little (2 3/4") fellow belongs in here with these beauties

...but, it's the only Kabar (that's the stamp) I could dig up in my, er, ah, "accumulation" of cutlery.

Great KA-BARs Buzzard! The Stag Boxcar; when you tired of it, it can come stay with me! Really like the bolster engraving on those knives.

Could I hit you guys up for a little help dating these two?
Both have Union tang stamping, I don't know much about KA-BAR.
The single blade is a Swing Guard Lock back, with a patent date of 1923 on the guard itself. The blade on the single has been "cleaned" so the tang stamps aren't real sharp.
The double is a large hunter pattern, with the number 0852 stamped on back. Both have match strike pulls. I just loved-um, so I had to bring them home!

The two blade folding hunter looks to be one of the 1983 versions. They made two that year one in a single blade and a double blade. Both have jigged bone handles. There were 352 made of the two blade, and 885 with a single blade.

I do not know about the Swing Guard need to look into that one a little more.

That swing guard is a beauty and a high $$ knife from the 1920's to 1930's era.
