now im not so sure if i am going on saturday. we have 2 grandkids staying overnite tonight and this is my grandsons first time, and with the new australian sheppard we got, it could be a big handful for my wife. my granddaughter isn't a worry, she just about lives here. she's with us every other weekend.
but i will definately be there for one day..

I plan to be at the show all weekend, and I think I know most of the guys from here who are planning to attend. If you come, and don't yet know anyone, ask for Bill Goodman. He can point me out.
Raining lightly here today, but the show and the routes to get there are not flood prone. I think any flooding predictions are just another WAG from the forecasters. Sooner or later they'll get one right.

8 bells and all is flooded. well almost all. most of n.e. pa. is under flood advisory, but rain slowed down to a drizzle. if it stays like this overnite, we are ok, waters will recede.

creek behind my house is a raging torrent. good thing it is about 20' down a gorge. i love it when it is this way, but it does go downstream into the rivers which all streams do, thats where the real problems are. and yes, after irene this is just a puddle, but still there is flooding in places. rain has stopped for now.
i went out to check the bucket dimitri. 2 1/2 inches.

Dimitri,
for me it was a great show. I posted a couple knives in Ginos "knife finds of the day".
I met some great guys there from AAPK.
Will you be at the Marlborough, Mass. show?

dimitri, the show was slow for sunday, i didn't make the sat. show, i guess a lot of people went on saturday, but i had my grandkids over. i picked up 3 knives, a real nice early 20s imperial easy open and a automatic camillus airborne, and a single blade klein.
most of the talk from this show is on the topic of knife finds of the day....

The show was great, seeing old friends and making some new ones. There was a little show and tell which is always fun and it was good to see that people were buying and selling.
I picked up this 1930's Italian switch at the show and a cool Cattaraugus wooden box. I get pics of the box posted in a few days.
Can't wait for next year!!!
