Re: Tracey
Thanks everyone! We just got home about an hour ago, and Tracey is sleeping.
According to the surgeon, all went well. The cancer had not spread and he was able to remove it.
Still awaiting the results of some more lab tests, and then radiation treatment to follow.
God truly does answer the prayers of the saints! It is very comforting to both of us to know that people are praying for us. We know that God does answer prayer, and He alone can heal.

Forgot to ask the doc what brand of cutlery he was using ...

Re: Tracey
Hey Gary,
Thanks for asking. God is in control, although we're experiencing what is in a purely physical sense, a setback. The doc in charge of followup treatment told us about a couple of problems that is now causing him to recommend radiation, chemo, and hormones for the next six months. This will make the chance of ten year survival about 91%. Still not good enough for me...
My lovely wife is taking it all in stride. She asked me before going wig shopping if I would like to be married to a blonde, brunette, or redhead ...

Prayers sent up from here.rangerbluedog wrote: She asked me before going wig shopping if I would like to be married to a blonde, brunette, or redhead ...

Re: Tracey
Thanks friends for all the prayers.
It's been a rough couple of weeks. Tracey started chemo and was pretty sick at first. The medicine for the nausea made her sleep a lot. She is a trooper though. Got the wig, (the red one) got the hair cut short so it won't be as difficult emotionally when it starts to fall out. She looks great!
I've been traveling a lot lately for work, so I haven't been available as much as I should be. Lot's of new equipment moving in and set up, so a couple of 80+ hour workweeks have left me plumb tuckered out.
God is still in control, and I know the end of the story, so we ain't skeered.
Lots of good friends, family, and saints in our support network.
So thanks again, and keep on praying like a winner!
