Hi, I'm looking for a pearl handled fight'n rooster stockman with the captain's rooster gold etching on the main blade. Can anyone help me?

Wow, I'm glad this topic was brought to the top of the page. There is some great pictures of the Fight'n Roosters. I especially like the 'McNairy County Gambler'. I guess I need to try to find one.

Beautiful knives there guys. I posted this picture a couple of weeks ago but I'll post them again anyway. These are the only Fight'n Roosters that I have but I plan on adding some more.

What is the blade etch on that pearl Jack??
Does it have half-stops?

I have the Rooster book but it ends around 1993.
Does anyone know what the Intl Cut Club Roosters were after 1993?
I have been trying to list them as they turn up on eBay but I have a lot of missing info.

Help anybody?

I am a pretty new collector. Was buying presents for son and found the rooster just too pretty to part with!
I like the stuff from Obertz: Bulldog and Fight'n Rooster with natural handles.
Besides, you guys are scaring me right off the celuloid.

Sorry to hear this. After reading up on them. I found that they are one of the neatest ones to collect.

Did you check out the post-called Celluloid Handles?

I too stopped to do some thinking about cell handled knives. Then I just store them in a place of their own and check on them every 3 to 4 mo. Why have knives and not look at them?

Treat them with REN-WAX and enjoy the beauty of them.

If you look around there are many old cells out there. The ones that go bad just make the good ones more valuable $$$ wise.
