I am looking forward to seeing pictures of your new Moran. I'm happy you were able to obtain it to the mutual mutual satisfaction of both parties. A win-win deal. You'll be able to enjoy the Moran a lot more when you aquire it honestly. Congratulations! :D :D

Hickorynut, I read all these posts in order, quite a saga. I would not have faulted you if you had availed yourself of a windfall at your neighbors expense. He's a big boy, and if I inherited a bunch of old pocketwatches I'd find out what they were worth before I sold any of them.

That being said, I give you all the credit in the world for wanting to do not simply the right, but the noble thing, and even considering taking advantage of your new neighbor doesn't diminish that. It's very easy for everyone on this board to tell you to do the right thing, and judge you harshly when you consider putting your interest above that of your neighbor. When you're the guy who has to pass up a once in a lifetime opportunity in order to be noble, it's a lot harder. Lots of people who arent' bad or greedy would have done differently. I think you are a true gentleman.
