) How did you cut the slab in 1/2 (a band saw the thinner the blade is better) ? I know it ended up rough. So what did you do then to make it flat to glue to the liners? The less you take off the closer the grain pattern will look on the edges. Then you took off more from the face of the handle to thin the wood right.
