You did a very good job giving her a MAKE OVER.

I see you took some time matching the wood grain before you drilled the holes for the pins. Very good job lining up the grain.

Now I need to know ( :lol: ) How did you cut the slab in 1/2 (a band saw the thinner the blade is better) ? I know it ended up rough. So what did you do then to make it flat to glue to the liners? The less you take off the closer the grain pattern will look on the edges. Then you took off more from the face of the handle to thin the wood right.
