Does that have 3 springs? I have one about that size, each of the 3 blades on its own spring.

Ole Sabre took to the hone like a duck to water, ole carbon steel takes a fine edge. EF don't need any stone work , sharpest knife out of the box I've ever encountered, D2 is wicked sharp.
