Thanks QSteel, and geocash. Great bones on both geocash, but I particularly like the S&M bones. 2009 was a good year at the factory.

Been carrying and using a Boker Barlow last several days. OH

To offset the day's gloominess I chose this yellow Boker.

More of Dr. Lansky's fine work in my pocket. It arrived today and joined the TC and Benchmade immediately. Talk about an *improved* muskrat!

Thank you. If it’s not too late you may want to consider again - nice action and well made. OHYehuda wrote:I almost got one like this recently. Very cool!Old Hunter wrote:Been carrying and using a Boker Barlow last several days. OH

Just cut something that doesn’t need cutting - with all that steel you just gotta cut something! OHroyal0014 wrote:Finally had time to whip the 052 from Dalton into shape.

I'd be tickled to find a Barlow like that myself.doglegg wrote:Fine Barlow OH![]()

And I have a question about the line or groove in the bones on this Barlow. I assume that's getting nearer to the marrow or inside or pith, whatever you call it, of the bone. I believe I've read someone using a word or term for it but I can't recall what it is or even be sure if I read that.

That OT hunter is a fitting tribute to anyone, Scott. Did you get it from your friend?

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Is that Boker a model 493 if so that's an exceptional knife. I have a true mint 493 it's still sealed in the original blister pack. I believe it to be from the 60's as it has no bar code on the package.Old Hunter wrote:Thank you. If it’s not too late you may want to consider again - nice action and well made. Here's a picture of it next to a 494 the one with a sheepsfoot main. Again these are great knives sorry for the glare.
