Got these in today. I really like the smooth white bone. The Office Knife is a regular run...I missed out on the first 25 with "First Run" etched on the blade.

I genuinely like every knife on this page. The buffalo horn, the white smooth bone, all of them are pushing my buttons.

Very nice haul today LJ. I was lucky enough to get the office knife on the first run, keep it right here in my desk. I have a couple of Marbles knives coming what do you think about them?

David...I'm actually very impressed with them for the price point. No gaps, good snap both ways...very well built, imo. The only minor issue I have with the Trapper is; the clip blade is hard to pull out...very stiff & tight. I can't pull it out with my fingernail. It could be where the nail nick lays that makes it hard to pull. I'll put some oil on the pivots and work it in, that should eventually loosen it up some. ::shrug:: Other than that, I am pleased with them.

Let us know how your are when you get them.

Thanks LJ, I will.
Look what I just got delivered, 3 Rough Ryder's the Pruner, Toothpick and Double Lockback in the Old Southwest Series. I already had the Canoe in that series. And guess what, FedEx delivered them and they came to the correct address and in a reasonable amount of time.
At first inspection I find no issues except you can see traces of light between the liners and backspring, but that is common on just about every knife I know of. I'm very please with my purchase.

Here is a Crown, J.S.H. & Co. --- 1900-1915

A very well built whittler with sunken joints and half stops on all three blades.
All three blades are stamped and it has quite the spring.
It has a nicely fashioned wedge.
It's at least 105 years old and has nice bones. 3 5/16"
A new little pal.

Thanks for looking.

David, I am not up on RR knives, but I really like the looks of that SW series. ::tu:: Do the other knives have the same etch that is visible on the pruner?

They sure are Ike. Here is the product description from SMKW.

"All of the knives in the Rough Ryder Old Southwest series feature 440A stainless steel blades with half-stops, match strike pulls, and a frosted etch on the main blade. The handles are embossed nickel silver with with synthetic red, synthetic turquoise, and genuine pearl inlay. It has lined nickel silver bolsters with a synthetic turquoise inlay on the pocket end bolster. It includes a magnetic clasp collector's box. Rough Ryder is always built by hand backed for life."

Here is a color pic and I did a B&W just for the fun of it.

Picked up this Gray Kershaw Leek 1660GRYBW (with Blackwash Blade) to add to my small Leek collection. This one has a liner lock and I actually prefer the frame lock Leeks, but unfortunately, Kershaw doesn't make the frame lock model in very many handle color varieties.

Those Kershaw knives are a blast to play with. I have two "Chives" around here. Think I'll get one of them in my pocket today just for the fun of it. ::super_happy:: Like that "Blackwash" blade! That's pretty cool! ::nod::

I recieved two knives this week. One made in China "Double Arrow" pen knife with a hasp in it. It's all metal but it is also colored so I can't tell if it's SS or Aluminium. ::shrug:: It has a picture in it but I can't figure out what it is. ::hmm:: Someone said on the "It's in the Mail" thread that it would be a good office knife. Sounds like a good idea. ::tu:: I'll make a matching "Black &White" lanyard for it as soon as I get around to it. ::nod::

Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake:: ::super_happy::
