Thanks knife buddies for all the kind words and wishes.
If there's any consolation to me, I think she had the best year of her life as far as being loved and cared for.The boss and I spoiled her rotten and I don't regret one penny we spent on her, and believe you me it would have bought some fancy knives, but she gave it all back to us with love.
My ole recliner pops a bit when I get up out of it and when she heard it pop she was up like bullet to see where I was headed and to follow along. I'm gonna miss her no doubt but it's not my first rodeo.
My good buddy Jack who helped with the surgery expenses, came up with his front loader and dug her grave and help the boss and I to bury. His wife and granddaughter are heart broken I'm sure as she spent most of her time at their house before she was hurt. Enough blubbering let the healing begin ✨ 😌 🙏.

This quote, from A.A. Milne has helped us keep perspective: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

RIP Holly, you will never be forgotten.
Sorry for your loss, believe me I know how your feeling but with time you'll only think about the good times you had with her.

Trying to figure out what part is puppy and what part is your shirt, Tom.

Visiting with my brother's Sheepadoodle, Cosmo, yesterday and this morning. He currently weighs 50lbs. and is 10 months old. He also thinks he's a lap dog. My brother's wife is allergic to pet dander, so the "doodle" part of his breed makes him not a problem.

I refuse to photograph my sister-in-law! (Even the "wide-angle" lens isn't sufficient to get all of her in the picture).
