I hear you. Steve's right, but I would like to know more about what I see, too, without showing my ignorance all the time.
Which of the Barlow and toothpick are you carrying right now and which one is your fav edc?
Edgewise,
I don't mean to sound like some wise*** but I frequently change during the day for two reasons: because I like to & because I can. I carry a Barlow a lot but I just can't pick a favorite. (I couldn't choose a favorite Canoe or Stockman, either.) The toothpick is a different story though. My favorite (at least lately) is a Case Small Texas Toothpick with CV & jigged bone &, it's in my pocket right now, although I can hardly tell it. That's the main thing I like about little toothpicks.

Lots of cardboard to slice up today. For this I always use my manual chainsaw, a Cold Steel Vaquero Grande.

Playing in the shop. This old Camillus cattle knife is going on 80 years old and still doing the business.

Thanks redden, great looking Tidioute yourself. I like that bone.
Colonel, I dig that baby, and love the 80 year experience. Great looking knife.
Couple days with this Camillus Cutlery Co Sword Brand 1941-46 equal end with some Rogers bone. Not quite 80 yrs, but getting close. The blade is thin and wide enough to make for a very thin behind the edge profile and very easy to sharpen, much more so than my thicker stock blades. Love this old steel.

Nice one Old Hunter, looks to be in excellent condition. Something about that particular lockback pattern that always gets my attention. Have seen a few of them out there for sale but haven't I jumped on one... (yet) :)
