Thanks JohnnyR. You're right. Those Winchesters are a class act. Better grab 'em up before the rest of the knife collecting world discovers 'em.

Glad you're outta there. I have an aversion to hospitals and nursing homes. I don't even like visiting someone in one of those places.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Sweet knives johnnie, glad you're back with us!
I said back in April I was out of any big purchases for the rest of the year but these grabbed my attention. I think only the -80 pattern Case Whittler was ever sharpened. The good old mailman delivered:
USA made orange bone Winchester Coke Bottle, Elephant Toe w/ pick & Clasp;
USA made Winchester The Scouts set with Buffalo Bill Cody and Wild Bill Hickok jacks;
Case Classics -0050 stag Coke Bottle & -046 corn cob bone 3 spring Whittler;
Case 8 Dot (1972) -80 Carpenter's Whittler in red bone;
Case XX USA (1964-1969) bone Muskrat, -29 bone Tadpole, -32 bone 3 5/8" Serpentine Jack, -54 bone SSP w/brushed blades Trapper, -92 bone 4" Serpentine Jack and a -47 bone Premium Stock;
and lastly a Cattaraugus bone 21479 Barehead Jack.
I threw in my Muskrat blade 10 Dot (1970) -54 Trapper for the heck of it.
All of these knives were priced so well I couldn't resist!

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Just got my second GEC.
I'm a sucker for smooth bone, so I couldn't help but glom on to this one.

Love the WC blade, but I wish it didn't have the second blade.
I like thinner knives in the pocket, and truthfully, the WC blade is very uncomfortable the way it sticks out so far when trying to use the smaller blade.
That's probably just me, and certainly isn't that big of a deal, but still bugs me.
Anywhoooo, here's a pic of it with my single blade Jack that hasn't been out of my pocket since I got it.

And one of the shield side.

I love these scales,,, wish the other knife had em too.
