I kneeded some tactical style knives to chatter about in my blog. There's 3 Outdoor Edge knives (had to find out what the Uncle Ted was all riled up about, or is it just the money). Couple Smith & Wessons and a Leatherman which I can't wait to examine.

Ted Nugent, friend to the 2nd Amendment? That's who Uncle Ted is? Never heard him referred to as such and no, never heard of the show. I lead a sheltered life.

Two nice old knives.

With respect to that Case, I'm wondering if that isn't an instance of making a knife work so it could still be used rather than out and out counterfeiting.

phil - The Buck is a 119, USA - has correct sheath looks like, has 119 on the back. I have not
owned one of these, impressed with the solid feel and balance of it.

Those of you who frequent the CollectorKnives forum probably already know that recently Railsplitter graciously gave away a knife over there. I can no longer say I never win anything because I was the winner of that knife.

It's an A.G. Russell Curved Regular Jack.

Fit and finish = Excellent ++.
Sharp out of the box = Excellent ++ (Right up there with Kershaw Leeks and Shun Classic kitchen knives.
Looks = like a custom knife
Substantial in the hand. Positive, loud opening and closing. Smooth silky blade movement. Blade centered perfectly between the liners. Steel liners and my little magnet says the bolsters are also.

It has the appearance which suggests it could hold up to a lifetime of hard work but that will never get tested as long as it lives at this house. (yes, I do know where it's made but with me, that's not open for discussion)

I'm using someone else's pictures. They're much better than I can take.
