Re: Any Train Enthusiasts Out There?
We did a Christmas Layout at a local bank for many years the Hiawatha and Blue comet are mine. The Blue comet is reproduction just like in knives the Hiawatha is the pre-war version that has been restored. The odd picture is the salvation Army band member in the Tree from the 05 layout.

Cool pictures! I see the Girl's set too, which is highly collectable. The Siamese cat looks large and in charge. Cool stable of locos!
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Re: Any Train Enthusiasts Out There?
I think the girls train on the bank layout was a new K-line. I have a 80's Lionel version that was new in the box I have it on the track more than once. the old girls set was to much bucks for me and not enough bang like the Blue Comet set.
Jefferson was a great cat he passed not to long after dad he was only 8 he died of renal kidney failure. We kept him going for a few extra months. Lori would hold him I would pull up his scruff and stick him until he had a pouch on the back of his neck. he never so much as complained. I actually took him and had to take him and had have him put down because i was going to the badger knife show in dads place and we had been giving him fluids for a couple of months. I took him to the vet more than once before could actually let go. I took him and came home with him and Lori would be like what are you doing.

Thank you very much QS
That was 20 years ago 42-62 is a big age change.
The other issue is the better half didn’t appreciate it then but we had small kids so I could get away with taking over the living room or small dining room. Now I am relegated to the basement and other house projects that need to be done. No kids left but still working so not at home for 50hrs a week. I
Thank you again I enjoy the memories that go with the pictures

Me neither, dog. And sometimes I'm glad because my "collecting" would probably be out of control.

Got stopped behind the shop by this one today. 166+/- cars 2 lead engines on middle and one bringing up the rear. Didn’t get the phone out quick enough for the first 2 engines.

Re: Any Train Enthusiasts Out There?
Those long trains are so cool.
Don’t think I have ever seen/counted 166 +-. That is a lot of cars. I thought I counted 135. Definitely at least 2 in front 1 middle and one bringing up the back. There was a father in scouts that worked on the programming for the middle and back engine.
