Here is my other recent Waterville wharncliffe score (actually I have 3 Waterville wharncliffes - one engraved aluminum, and 2 bone of different sizes). This one is 2 & 7/8" and different bone than the one just above. Different shield as well. No half stops on either blade. The stamps were the same on both blades on this knife - the pen blade had a tiny but very readable stamp and same as master blade pictured below. No doubt Waterville over its long time span of approximately 70 years used different bone - I imagine the sources changed over that time - also jigging was different pending the time frame. Still a solid knife after all these years...

Another beauty Lee! Those curvy wharncliff's really are in a class by themselves. The bone is sweet and most importantly it's a Wateville! I have one Waterville and it's my pride and joy! Your collection of Waterville's is amazing and truly a pleasure to view! Congratts!!

Waterville Whittler - Swell-Center Balloon - 3 & 5/8" closed ... Only lightly sharpened if at all and one can see a few scratches on blades given the angle of the light reflection on the original blade finish which still exists... All blades stamped the same.. Snappy & tight ...
