2012 POS Roundtable Anyone ? ? ? ? ?

Jerry.... I thought POS meant how much you paid... Think I have more in postage other than the Queen, which I think might have a cracked frame/liner ...Top..pile side anyway its a great carry, very light. I think you can actually have to many Leathermans....that one made the fourth when I found it camping.
The old one almost didnt make it in the box.....thought you'd like it.....dam thing wants to jump out of your hand when you handle it.... Enjoy

I see what you're talking about but I don't see it running down the frame. I'll try again tomorrow when there's more natural light. Ya know, everyone has their own definition of POS. That's one of the things that makes these Round Tables so much fun. (plus you don't have a lot of $$ tied up in 'em)

Well, looky looky what floated over from GA:
RandyFew musta knowed I like scout knives.
This 'un is of such quality that the maker dared not mar perfection by putting a tang stamp on her.
All the blades are full, but there's just the least little bit o' slop on two of them.
He even included a chain so's I wouldn't accidentally throw this knife in the lake!
I'm gonna have to carry this one in my pocket next time I fly. TSA will love this one!
Just picking' at ya randy, I kinda like the handles!
I'm gonna try to clean her up and tighten up the blades a little. It will be fun playing with this 'un!

Well, I got a package from Dimitri...............

Implicit in POS is "piece" generally construed to mean one or maybe two.

Apparently Dimitri fed his knives Ex lax, 'cause I think they had the runs.
I got a whole PILE instead a POS!

My camera and PC are feuding, they refuse to talk to one another, but perhaps I can bypass the problem and post a picture tomorrow.
But what I got were 11 knives.

Don't tell Dimitri, but I think he mixed some of his good ones with them.
I rescued a nice celluloid Imperial, washed the organic fertilizer off it, sharpened it and put it in my pocket. There is nothing that equals that Imperial steel!
There was also a Camillus pruning knife, circa WWI. The wood is broken, but I think I can handle that.

It was a pretty decent pile; the worst POS was a Chinee Buck. That will go to a grandkid.

Thanks Dimitri, now I have MORE project knives to work on.

And yes, they do crap out a very big pile, that is why you got so many knives

Recently I have trained them to use the toilet, which is making things much easier than the old method

Best thing about this giveaway is that now I can justify going out and buying 11 more old knives for my collection

Gino this was posed to be a POS giveaway. I just got your package(wrapped in bathroom tissue) and it is wonderful.
This is to knives what kopi luwak coffee is to Starbucks. Kopi luwak coffee is made from coffee beans which have passed through the digestive tract of a civet cat.

I got one for my bugout bag, one for my glove box, and one for next year's roundtable.

basser 5...I went home for lunch and the POS was there just sitting on my table. It didn't stink or move at all. I thought it may be a Red Remington I won a few days ago.

I was quite happy to see some EDC's that are just what I love and collect. Even some Walk & Talk. The 62021/2 Six dot case is very nice and the Winchester will be in my pocket this week end looking for a stray tom cat. The Asian knife may go in the pile that I give to unfortunate children witout knives and the STAN knife stinks a little and will break a nail if you mess with it. Thanks for a pleasant experience, you made an otherwise shitty day a very acceptable one.

Just had so much fun with this POS roundtable. It being my first of hopefully many more to come; I wanted to send a personal POS challenge to Johnnie R., next time yer in the BR...sit down... take a "load" off your mind and decide to wade on in on the next POS roundtable... the sewer water is fine! Well...I received a package Friday from 313 Mike...It was set off on it's own because of the smell.

The knives were individually wrapped in the appropriate "paper".

Here is my steaming pile:




All kidding aside, there are actually a few decent knives in here. I love the little pearl one. A quick reprofile on the main blade should set her right.

The little 2 blade bone one is unmarked, but nice.

And the wood handled stockman is a Camillus. That might make a nice project.

I haven't seen one of those in years. I sold hundreds of them in the Pipe Shops!
