Thanks. What really looks similar is the gec compared to a schrade walden 890, it almost looks like gec used that to base their 66 stockman design.doglegg wrote:Mister Knife Slinger, those look like twins from a few years apart. Knice.

Wow, I wouldn't do well in that heat, I used to teach PADI scuba diving in remote locations in the world that were hot, but I spent a lot of time in the water. Thanks for the compliments, stag is a favorite of mine.doglegg wrote: Montanaman, we have out first morning down into the upper 60's since May. And cool is knice. Great scales on those blade also.

I never realized that but your right. There's nothing cooler than a old knife that not only looks good but is still being used. I like that Schrade.KnifeSlinger#81 wrote:Thanks. Nice pair of Case knife Dave.
Good pairing as well there DM11.
Like your style Tsar Bomba, all 4 of those knives are certainly carry worthy.
Nice pairing Kris, I have a fondness for wood handled folders myself and that fixed blade is some kind knife as well.
Here's my 2 for today, GEC micarta and fight'n rooster stag.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Spent the past two days getting ready for Hurricane Florence. I’ve lashed down everything I couldn’t store away, this little Case 6208 penknife has been my steady companion - put it on the stone Tuesday night, she’s still hair popping sharp now - love old Case CV steel. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Old Hunter, that looks like a well used, well loved, knife. Hope you don't live in a flood area. In any event good luck to you and yours. Thoughts.
