Thats a nice Case knife you've got there David, the engraving on the bolsters are beautiful...not to mention that old Luger swiss isn't bad itself
Tom I've been eyeing the older Boker knives, you did good on that one.
Here's today's mailbox haul from last weeks escapades with a few more due later in the week.
Cheers!
I love the one with the lanyard!
Thanks!
Yeah, that was my best one of the bunch. Was looking forward to getting it in my hand. It's a solid knife, good weight to it too.
These oldies but goodies arrived today. Two more Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire jack pocket knives.
I cleaned both of them, took some pictures and here they are.
Man those look nice! You've done good
Thank you.

Came about a half-hour ago and as Gone2Three said, more on the way later in the week. This was on back order at Shepherd Hill until I got tired of waiting and found it cheaper at SMKW. Quick ship too. She's a beauty.
Hey! I ordered mine first! Hope I get it soon.
Geez, Ken. I should because I'm just right up the road from SMKW a piece (650 miles) and you're at the North Pole and all the way across the country (4000 miles). You need to move a little closer if you want to be able to expect that Blue Ribbon service. Your expectations of the USPS are too high. Santa Claus is the only one that can easly find your place.

Garry, that is a one beautiful knife. Love that scrimshaw work on both sides of that one. That is the perfect knife for scrimshaw of a sailing ship. I bet that one feels substantial in hand.

Had three old gents to move in with me this past week. One from our own knifegnome, the other two fished out of the bay. The two 72's are short line and the other is a Hammer Brand model. More pics in appropriate forms.
Just got this today. Camillus 165 stockman. I have a few old Buck 301's and 303's that I think were made by Camillus but this is my 1st Camillus stockman.

For a first Camillus stockman you picked a great one. A longtime Camillus employee, who has sadly passed on, stated on this forum that the 165, 179, and 177 were some of the best they made.

Thanks men! I don't really know anything about Camillus knives. Just happened to find it. You know the old saying even a blind squirrel finds a acorn every once in a while.
