Sunknife, that appaloosa bone does it for me. Great knife. ::nod:: ::tu::

Thanks Ivoryman, the Barlow was a gift from a son in law and I like the color in it too, its a smooth knife all around.

Thanks doglegg, the appaloosa bone is just a Rough Rider that came as natural white bone that I dyed to get the look it now has, pretty simple to do too.

I like that you know provenance of your knife. Here's a photo of my first Wonda-Edge 163, also found floating in the bay but with no real knowledge of its history. Since this one I've found one with the bail and a far cleaner and less worn blade, same stamp IIRC. I just don't have a photo handy and it's not within easy reach right now. Lots of praise for Schrade's serrated edge but I've always had trouble keeping 'serrations sharp. ::paranoid::

Yup ::nod:: that’s a really nice viper!

I know I’ve said it before about other knives, but this Henry Sears is just a fantastic knife. Great stag, great blades. Just going to have to have it in the pocket all the time!
Of course, the IXL and ZT are pretty nice as well.

Thanks. I find myself carrying the Russlock more and more. It takes a little getting used to. Still prefer the feel of a knife like the Camillus 67 or 72. Those are just classics. ::tu::

I really liked all of the 67's like yours from the hardware store, they are an excellent example of a no frills work knife and I like the simple look of it. Solid, good snap, good blade grinds and they were decently sharp which is rare for a factory edge. A very practical, functional knife.

No dog it had a company logo on and I didn't care for it so I sanded it off and put some Formbys on it. Brought the grain out pretty good. ::handshake::
You did a great job on it BH, that is some sweet wood. ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::nod::

These two from Jerry Halfrich are with me today, Jack Russell in M4 tool steel and a Paul Long sheath; and a Hidalgo front lock in Mike Norris stainless damascus, both are halved in some old growth redwood burl that I bought many years ago

Nice sleeveboard Sunknife. Great bones. Mailbox had this Camillus today so I rubbed it down with some simichrome and in the pocket it went. Put an edge on it later.

Just got this handmade knife today from a gentleman who made it for me. He is from Cambell Missouri. The sheath is Kydex and is heated with the knife in it to form a beautiful fit. I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks for looking! :)

In answer to whomever asked the stockman I posted is a 10 dot Case XX small stockman.
I THINK that makes it a 6333 because I do own a 63032.
