It sure felt like Christmas came early when I opened these today. The Schrade is the Nov give away knife. Second is a Coleman stag 5 blade Sowbelly made in Seki Japan. And last is a new Viper stag sowbelly, had it on early reserve at CK. Every time I pick up a Viper I wonder why I don’t have more of them? Love the quality and solid feel of a Viper knife. All three of these knives are amazing, I doubt that Christmas will get better than this.

All three are impressive Mark. The look of the Viper is unusual and very appealing. Am going to check out the Vipers.

Thanks Tom and Garry. Garry you can’t go wrong with a Viper. Very solid feel. The pull is just a touch hard for me, Mike rated it a 6 and I would agree, that’s exactly what I would rate it. Got use to the softer pulls of the GEC knives, but if you don’t have soft thumbnails like I have, it isn’t an issue.
This Viper even has titanium liners, how often do you find that on a knife?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess "NAHC stands for North American Hunting Club". Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Now that you've said it I believe you are correct and that I've seen that on something else. Thanks.

Here in Ponder Country the Post Rider was in a big hurry, but did have time to drop off a little gift.
A Voss Cutlery Co Sodbuster Lockback style with a stag handle. This is a very attractive knife and comes with a black ballistic material case.

Skip, you hit the mother lode with that trip to the mail box. Wonderful bones and book. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu::

My mail lady brought a couple of knice ones my way. An Ole Smoky variation of the Camillus 72 and an AG Russell Cattaraugus tiny toothpick. I like the bones and the interesting bolster lock.

David I don't know, I have 4 and there are various stamps, but I'd bet they all came from the same factory. Imho they are well put together, f&f is good and you can find them on the bay for very little money. ::tu::

Beautiful knives guys, well done! Something about those old bone handles on a jack knife... it’s like candy to a kid. I don’t have many razors, but some are just too interesting to pass up, so here’s a black Challenge Cutlery Bridgeport and a yellow J. Wiss, my latest finds... Both were $10 each, one from eBay and one from a yard sale. The yellow Wiss was pulled out of Grandpa’s tool box and was so filthy, that I only found out the true color when I cleaned all of grime from it. The Challenge showed up looking unused, not bad for a 100 year old shaver LOL. Happy New Year everyone! ::ds::

oops, almost forgot... A 1982 Taylor Shark set. I was surprised to find this set unnumbered and all knives crack free. Was actually looking for a glitter pattern Shark when I found this.

Great pickups this wonderful Christmas day Ultra ::tu:: .
Here's my latest pickups. From Mark (Sharpnshinyknives), from 2012, 22 of 25 (documented), GEC #62 jigged autumn bone ……. ::super_happy:: .
From trip to Brandon MB gun show. 2018 (Umarex) Glock 19 .177 co2 air pistol. Excellent quality, accurate, and powerful pistol. 15 round mag (nowhere big enough ). So far I run close to 9 clips through it, 8 on full power, last one fired out co2. Fun, fun, fun! With no recoil to speak of, but super loud! You could easily mistake it for a real Glock any day ::super_happy:: .
That's all I got for now.
Willy :D
Merry Christmas!

Glad you like the Maverick Willy. I don’t own a Glock, I do own a few Sig Sauer’s though. My favorite gun is still my Henry Rifle.
Got another Coleman 5 blade sowbelly in today. Made in Seki Japan nearly 30 years ago. This knife has traveled half way around the world and survived in great condition all these years. Coleman only managed to get one run of knives done back then. I guess the project got shelved for some reason after the first run on all of these. Too bad, the quality on these is extremely high.
