sum Case knives.
My 1st stag handled knife: marked W.Drummond & sons SAYNOR.
My every day knife for many years; a Wostenholm bare head jack. Holds an incredible edge and snaps like a bear trap. Love the color of the stag!

Beautiful work, OC!OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 2:37 pm A few months ago I bought this KA-BAR stainless fish knife for a few bucks because it was missing the handle material on one side and the other side was broken. I remember thinking that I had not seen a fish knife done in stag, so that is what this one is.

Thanks! I was never a huge fan of the Congress shape - seemed unnatural in an upside down kinda way. But, I’ve really become attached to this little stag-sided beauty. It’s growing on me.

A group of Case 1979-1981 Shark Tooth knives in stag with 2 Curly maples at left in the pic.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
