Just got tracking info. I'm excited and grateful for all the work that went into making this happen.

All packages are now in the capable hands of USPS and UPS for our Canadian members. A huge thank you to Rudy at the Southport NC Post Office whose patience and assistance this morning was most welcoming. I’m sure he’ll never read this but he took all of my stress away (due to dozens in line behind me) and for that I’m very grateful.

I’m now going to take a long walk on the beach and reflect on what just transpired this week. Above all, I’m glad I took this project off of Bryan’s already overflowing plate of AAPK duties and that he trusted me enough to make it happen. Post your knives when they arrive so others can see and hear your reactions. Merry Christmas to all and to all as good night!

I have to wonder if anybody got theirs today and haven’t posted yet. I’ve been receiving USPS packages on Sundays for two or three years now.

This reminds me of how the kids used to track Santa with the help of the local TV stations!
My package had made it to Palmetto, Ga by 7:46 pm this evening and is again in transit at 10:35 pm, supposed to arrive at Starvation Plantation by 9 pm Tuesday. Maybe USPS won't collide with old St Nick and cause anyone to be disappointed.
As a side note, a FedX driver was caught dumping packages in the woods in a county west of us, he has a heap of charges against him. Wonder why he just didn't go ahead and deliver the packages or at least return back to the depot and start again the next day?
Another thank you to Tom for taking on this task for the forum. ::handshake::

Mine is stuck at the mail sorting facility at Merrifield, guess it will be an after Christmas present.

Ethan, is this your tracking number:

Not sure what you are looking at that says "processing"

<<update>> I see you were looking at the AAPK Store transaction. Unfortunately, purchasing a shipping label from PayPal provided everyone with tracking information but it doesn’t integrate with AAPK stores so the status there will forever show ”processing”. Sorry for the confusion.

Good morning everyone - I have a limited number of knives available for sale; $135.40 for 1 knife and $260.40 for 2 knives which includes USPS domestic shipping. If you'd like a knife or two, please PM with:
  • How many knives you would like (1 or 2)?
  • Your PayPal Name (for me to send you an invoice)?
  • Your Real Name
  • Your Telephone Number
  • Your Email Address
and I will send you a PayPal invoice. Thank you again to everyone for your kind patience and support. ::handshake::

Progress is being made, my knife made it to Pensacola last night around 11:30 last night. ::tu:: (Just like trackin' Santa Claus)
It may make it over to Chipley for tomorrows' mail route.

Received mine 20 minutes ago. ::ds:: My photos do not do it justice. VERY pleased with this one. The Kingwood is awesome!

Thanks again Tom for all your hard work and expertise in pulling this off. ::handshake::

As a side note: Tom is 230 miles south of me, so one would think that USPS would just make a direct mailing to Virginia Beach. But NOPE, usps had to bypass VB and send it on north to Richmond, Va., another 110 miles north, then send it back down south. **sigh** Otherwise, I would have had it Friday or Saturday.

But hey...it's here now. ::tu::
