Two gorgeous knives, Iman. In the Chicago Art Institute hangs a Picasso identified as being from his "Blue Period." Your knives deserve to be hanging on that wall.

Iman, you are killing me!!!
If your knives get anymore beautiful I'll have to stop viewing them for fear of having my heart stop!
Your 2 "blue" knives are 2 of the nicest folders I've ever laid eyes on! Does your collection ever end?

Wow guys, thanks for the heap of praise. Appreciate that, and glad you like them. Blue camel is hard to beat IMHO. Thanks again.

Re: Feeling “Blue”
I ordered the rest of the Rough Rider Blue Ocean knives. I will post a few at a time. The handles are made of mother or pearl and a blue pearl man made material that is quite nice. The pearl on these is exceptional for a knife in this price range. Most of it looks like gold lip pearl and not just MOP. It really has nice fire and color. The blue pearl has light swirls in it that makes it more colorful. The spacers are brass and that adds some more color to the situation. I got five knives today to complete the collection and I did see some minor flaws that aren’t on all the knives. On one of the pearl slabs there is some of the outer shell of the pearl visible on the edge. To be fair I have seen this on a Schatt and Morgan pearl knife before. I just take it for granted that you will see this when dealing with shell handles. The lines on the bolsters on one knife isn’t cut as deep in one spot. It looks like a bit of dirt but it’s actually metal. Other than that, the fit and finish, snap and sharpness is excellent.

Very nice Mark, but not a single, single blade model in the bunch and you know how many blades I like! Although not in your pictures does the Dr.'s knife have a spatula or just a single blade? Thx!

Thanks Mark. The doctor’s knife has a sheepsfoot main blade and a spatula secondary blade, I’ve never seen a sheepsfoot on a doctor’s knife before, I like it. Here are pictures of the rest of the collection.
Thank you TMK

Beautiful Mark. The mixture of colors on your knives really make them stand out. I too have never seen a sheepsfoot on a Dr.'s knife and like you I like it. I have an Imperial melon-tester with a sheepsfoot and I think that grind looks good on any knife. Thx for the pics!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 12:06 pmThanks Mark. Re: Feeling “Blue”
Thought I would wake up this thread with one that came across my desk recently, added this one to my store a week ago or so. Canal Street Swell Center Jack with the blue rope jigged bone that Eric salvaged from the old Schrade plant when it shut down. What a beauty.

That blue bone looks awesome!
I've seen a few 5OTs with it, but they're really uncommon. Guessing not many were made before Schrade shut it doors.

I've been admiring that knife in your store ever since you listed it Mark, and if it only had a single dagger/spear-point blade it would be mine!
The deep rich blue is stunning! Beautiful knife, congrats!

Thanks Mark.
Cody, I have a trapper made with this same blue rope jigged bone from Schrade. It’s beautiful, one of the best looking handles in my collection.

Thanks Garry and Redrider. Any knife looks great with this handle material on it. Open to reasonable offers on this one. The more I see this knife the more I second guess my decision to sell it.
